Intraocular Lenses: Crystalens® and ReSTOR®

Intraocular lenses, such as Crystalens® and ReSTOR®, work with the muscles of your eye to focus light and function much like your natural lens. IOLs are an option for patients with cataracts, or those affected by presbyopia. During the quick 15 minute procedure, Dr. Mitchell will replace the natural lens of your eye with the artificial IOL. You will begin to notice an improvement in your vision soon after the surgery.
